Management team and staff of Movenpick Resort and Spa Karon Beach Phuket invited guests staying at the resort to celebrate the Thai New Year in a traditional Thai style by offering food to the Buddist monks on the first morning of the Songkran Festival.
Offering food to the monks is a meritorious act and is believed to bring good luck to the offerors. The resort also organized complimentary Thai games and activities for kids to have some fun at the resort’s garden lawn.
