Celebrate Songkran with traditional Thai flavours inspired by timeless recipes and seasonal ingredients

This summer, Open Kitchen welcomes the joyful spirit of Songkran – Thailand’s traditional New Year – with 'Taste of Thai Summer', a seasonal dining experience available from 13 to 19 April 2026. Inspired by time-honoured recipes and the warmth of Thai hospitality, the menu celebrates the comforting flavours of traditional home-style cooking, bringing together dishes that have been cherished across generations.

The experience unfolds from appetiser to dessert, beginning with nostalgic favourites such as Goong Hom Pha and Lab Moo Sarong-crispy prawn spring rolls and deep-fried pork wrapped in delicate egg noodles, served with homemade sweet chilli sauce. The main course highlights Massaman Nuea Mun Whan, a slow-braised beef short rib Massaman curry simmered in coconut milk with sweet potatoes, cashew nuts and fragrant spices, served alongside Thai garlic rice. These classic dishes reflect the rich culinary heritage of Thailand while capturing the vibrant flavours of the summer season.

To complement the experience, guests can enjoy the Beverage of the Month – refreshing summer creations for adults that blend various ingredients including seasonal fruits. April features Summer Berry and Passion Yuzu Sour, while May introduces Blue Lagoon Paradise and Sunset Breeze. Available daily from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. at THB 190 net per glass.

Apart from the seasonal special menus, Open Kitchen continues to celebrate its farm-to-fork dining philosophy, where fresh, locally sourced ingredients are thoughtfully prepared and enjoyed in a relaxed garden setting. Guests can experience this vibrant lifestyle throughout the day with a variety of signature activities and offers. Mornings begin with complimentary Yoga in the Park every Tuesday to Saturday from 8:00–9:00 a.m., followed by a 25% dining privilege on food and drinks. Afternoons invite a sweet pause with the Pastry Duo Set, featuring freshly baked pastries paired with coffee, tea, or soft drinks.

As evening falls, the garden comes alive with Music in the Garden, Open Movie Nights under the stars and the indulgent Unlimited Lobster Barbecue Dinner every Thursday, featuring Wagyu beef, Andaman seafood, and live music.
