EarthCheck – the world’s most prestigious global green tourism advisory organization, has awarded a Silver Certification to The Racha.

An EarthCheck seal demonstrates a tourism operators’ level of commitment to environmental and social performance.

The program requires businesses to measure, monitor and make ongoing improvements in the key performance areas of; Greenhouse Gas Emissions • Energy Efficiency, Conservation & Management • Management of Freshwater Resources • Ecosystem Conservation & Management • Social and Cultural Management Land Use Planning & Management • Air Quality Protection • Wastewater Management • Solid Waste Management

Environmentally Harmful Substances

‘Gold Level’ Green Hotel Award from Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment Another year-end sustainability accolade for The Racha is the ‘Gold Level’ Green Hotel Award from Thailand’s Ministry of Natural Resources & Environment.

The highest-level Gold rating connotes achieving an 80% or more score on environmental, conservation and sustainability practices.
