Dilmah Tea Celebrates Its 30 Years by Offering A Unique Experience With A Menu Inspired by Its World-renowned tea, Created and Cooked by Chef Peter Kuruvita, Flown Straight from The World of Haute Cuisine

Global Premium Wine Co. ltd, sole importer and distributor of Dilmah Tea, infamous authentic exceptional tea from Sri Lanka, together with Banyan Tree Phuket will hold “A Weekend with Peter Kuruvita by Dilmah Tea”  to celebrate Dilmah Tea’s 30th anniversary, inviting world famous chef Peter Kuruvita, from Australia, flown exclusively to create a special 5 course menu inspired by the unique Dilmah Tea, for Thai people to experience the delectable fusion of East meets West.

Chef Peter Kuruvita, celebrity chef of Sri-Lankan and Australian heritage and brand ambassador of Dilmah Tea had this to add: “To make this event more special, I used Dilmah tea as ingredients in both dishes and beverages, enhancing the aroma and subtlety of this 5 course menu to offer you an experience you have never felt before. Let us start at the beginning with a fresh tuna salad served with a side of Dilmah Lapsang Souchong, followed by a bacon of lamb with a special marinade of Dilmah Cinnamon Ceylon. The next course is a roasted chicken with its Earl Grey Sauce followed by a grilled lobster in its Dilmah Vanilla Tea cream sauce, closing with the desserts, consisting of a Pineapple cake drizzled with caramel sauce and a Dilmah Chai Tea Sorbet in a fusion style that truly marries East and West Cuisine.”
