The 10th Anniversary Millennium Resort Patong Phuket Charity Run 2017 is a run-for-charity organised by Millennium Resort Patong Phuket (MRPP) in conjunction with its 10th year celebrations. “Engaging with Autism” has been chosen as the theme for this marathon.
The main objective of this special event is to raise funds through the collection of Participation Fees from the event. All collections will be donated to the Phuket Panyanukul School (PPS) to support and improve the teaching-learning quality, gain new and effective ways in educating children with autism. This event is also aimed to further promote awareness among the local society towards children with special needs as well as drive a healthy lifestyle. The proposed charity event is expected to also gain awareness for MRPP through its CSR programs.
The Phuket Panyanukul School (PPS) was established on 29 November 1993 and located at 133 Moo 3, Pa Khlok, Thalang, Phuket 83110 Thailand. It is recognized by the Ministry of Education under Region 4 in response to the Thai Government policy to expand education opportunities from kindergarten to high school for children with special needs emotional and behavioral disabilities and autism.
