This luxury leisure craft is designed by award-winning Tony Castro and built by Galeon Yachts, a Poland-based motor yacht builder.
Galeon Yachts are distributed in Asia by Asia Marine Yacht Services in Hong Kong.
“The Galeon 500 FLY revolutionary concept created a big buzz at the Cannes Boat Show last year,” says Vincent Tabuteau, CEO of Asia Marine. “The boat features a unique ‘beach mode’ function, which extends the width of the cockpit to six metres by dropping down both the port and starboard sides. It is the perfect setting for our tropical cruising grounds in Phuket.”
Asia Marine was appointed Thailand exclusive dealer in December 2015 and the first Galeon was ordered at the Phuket International Boat Show (PIMEX) in January. The boat is expected to arrive in Phuket in September.
Galeon 500 Fly The Power of Innovation
When it comes to innovative features and pure excitement, the Galeon 500 Fly has no equal. Amaze yourself with this, the ultimate party boat!
Highly customizable, with three distinct aft configurations to choose from, the 500 Fly offers flexibility when it comes to cockpit arrangements. Choose between a full-sized garage with a sundeck on top, a classic L-shaped sofa and crew cabin setup or the innovative roto-seat option that includes a compact garage.
Best of all, all three will let you take full advantage of the unique beach mode that extends the width of the cockpit to a stunning 5.8 metres by dropping down both the port and starboard sides.
The bow rest area comes with a transformable seating arrangement – the first for a yacht in this class. A swift and automated system will quickly alter the sundeck into a comfortable seating area and auto-level it to a proper position. An optional, soft top bimini is also available for extra protection.
Up top, the sizable flybridge can be fitted with a wet bar, sundecks, and a second helm station for easier maneuvering. With two different garage options and a powerful hydraulic bath platform, you can choose between a rich variety of engaging water paraphernalia.
The main deck reveals closely linked saloon and cockpit areas with a flush floor and sliding side windows. Serve refreshments straight from the galley or even set up an outside bar to your guests’ delight. The bright interior of the saloon is also fitted with leisure and dining areas as well as a functional helm station with great visibility.
Down below, three cabins and two bathrooms make a total of six berths. The master cabin, located midship, offers a double bed, large wardrobe and a private bathroom. Offer your guests the bow VIP cabin for spectacular night views thanks to a series of skylights. The double guest cabin can be turned into a study, wardrobe or an additional leisure area. All quarters offer standing height and have access to natural light.
On the practical side, both the IPS and shaft drive options will be available, along with a choice of powerful engines and high-tech electronic and navigational equipment.
